Logistics for construction in Cancun and the Riviera Maya
On a job site, what arrives early is in the way and what arrives late stops the crew. We bring the material and get it on site when the schedule calls for it.
Materials and equipment that reach the site when the schedule calls for them.
Almost everything built in Quintana Roo is brought from outside the state, and a good share from outside the country. That turns every major line item into a shipment with a date, and every customs delay into lost days on site.
We work with the site manager and with purchasing: they tell us what goes in and when, and we fit freight, clearance and deliveries to that schedule.
What we bring for a job site
Steel and structure
Rebar, sections, sheet and fabricated structure. Steel needs a sector-specific importer registration in Mexico: we check it before you buy.
Precast and facade
Panels, windows, curtain wall and facade systems.
Waterproofing and chemicals
With their safety data sheets and the handling each product requires.
Building systems
Pipe, panels, cable, air conditioning and pumping equipment.
Machinery and equipment
Purchased, or under temporary import when it will only be used during the build.
How we work with a builder
We follow the construction schedule
Shipping dates come from progress on site, not the other way round. If the schedule changes, we move the deliveries.
The vehicle the site can take
Flatbed for structure and oversized pieces, dry van for general material, small trucks where a trailer can't get in.
Storage off site
Many sites have no yard. Material waits in our warehouse and goes in a part at a time.
Temporary import
Machinery that only comes to work enters without paying duties and leaves within the period the law sets.

Frequently asked questions
Can you import machinery temporarily?
Yes. Equipment that comes in to be used on a build and then leaves again can be imported temporarily, without the duties of a permanent import. We handle the filing and the return within the deadline.
Do you deliver to sites with no maneuvering yard?
Yes. The load is broken down in the warehouse and arrives in whatever vehicle the access allows, at the time you agree with your site manager.
Do you move oversized cargo?
Yes. Structure, machinery and out-of-gauge pieces travel on flatbeds, with the applicable transit permits.
What do I need to import steel into Mexico?
Besides the general importer registry, steel requires a sector-specific registration and its own filings. We tell you what's missing before you pay your supplier.
